The bid winner selects a trump card placed face-down. Trump stays hidden until someone can't follow suit — then the trump card returns to the winner's hand, shifting the game entirely.
Hold a King-Queen pair? Declare it after your team's first trick win to adjust the bid — reducing it for your team or increasing it against opponents. Trump-suit pairs are worth double!
Fixed teams of two sit across from each other. Coordinate with your partner through card play — no communication allowed. Read the table, trust your teammate.

Each player receives 4 cards. Bidding starts left of dealer (they can never pass). Bid minimum 15, maximum 30. Call "Tanni" for an instant 30-bid with no second deal.
3 more cards dealt to each player (7 total). The bid winner secretly selects one card as trump — removed from hand and placed face-down. 2 kitty cards go to bid team.
